Italian regulated fund management company
Investing in Italy through limited companies is tax heavy and becomes expensive and time consuming to manage across a large portfolio. The Italian real estate industry is being driven towards the use of real estate funds managed by SGR* structures - they are generally tax transparent for foreign investors and once a fund is launched are fairly simple to manage.
We hope to launch Endeavour Capital SGR in 2010 to enter this market and provide regulated Italian SGR fund services to local and international institutions seeking an independent manager who is highly experienced in local and international cross-border fund management processes, operations, structures and practices.
*An Italian “SGR” is a regulated Italian fund management vehicle. It is the only entity which can set-up and manage Italian domiciled property funds. Such funds provide highly attractive regulatory and fiscal advantages to investors.
The target is to grow assets under management in the SGR to more than €2bn within five years.
